Super Hero's or Monsters Superheroes. Monsters are scary. Even the nice ones, like the Cookie Monster. Sometimes I dream that he’s in my house trying to take cookies. If you came down into the kitchen and there was a big blue furry fat monster in your house and all he would talk about was cookies? That would be scary.
Pizza or Chicken Fingers Pizza. Eating anything that’s called “fingers’ is kinda yuck.
Batman or Superman Superman! He saves the whole planet.
Blue or Green Both. Like Earth.
Cowboy or Astronaut Astronaut. Like Buzz Lightyear. I like him better than Woody.
Spiders or Worms Spiders. Like Charlotte. Except she dies. And DIARY OF A WORM is really good. I like the part where he talks to his sister.
Swimming or Tree Climbing Swimming. I can almost do it without swimmies now. In the deep end, too.
Puzzles or Coloring Coloring. Our puzzles are always, always, missing pieces because when Harry gets mad, he hides them. Once he ATE a piece, just to make me mad.
Fruit Loops or Lucky Charms Lucky Charms. Except I’m not sure why they have the part that isn’t ‘charms’ because nobody really eats it.
Tag or Hide and Seek Hide and Seek. Actually, Sardines. Which we play in our family, which is like Hide and Seek except when you find the person, instead of the game being over, you hide next to them, and then the next person to find you does the same thing, until there is only one person left looking and you’re all squashed together. When the last person finds everyone, everybody laughs.
Reading or Being read to I can’t read yet. So being read to. Unless it’s by Alice, and she is tired because then she does this thing where she just says “Once upon a time, they lived happily ever after.” And that’s not even a story.
Baseball or Soccer Baseball. I almost can hit the ball now. Except last time I hit it into Duff’s eye and he thought I did it on purpose. But I didn’t. Because the ball never goes where I want it to. I would have hit Harry if it did.
