{Beyond Swag} A New Drug Created to Promote a Book?

By: | May 17, 2012

Antendol

Shaden Pharmaceuticals has created the drug Atendol for teens in hopes of getting their ADD in order. Or, have they created ADD to keep their orders of Atendol going? Or, is it all just a big joke that's not that funny when you really think about it?

No matter what side of the Atendol debate you fall on, everyone seems to be after Sarah Striker, the main character in the new book Pharmacology who seems set on exposing these drug companies for what they're really doing and how they are marketing their products to teens and their parents. The only thing is nobody can really figure out where the marketing stops and where reality begins.

Maybe we're not supposed to be concentrating long enough to be able to find out.
