{Book Fluffers} Mortal Instruments Edition

You may or may not be aware that I am in an EPIC book club, we are called The Book Fluffers.

I will not discuss how the name came to be, only that when you stick a bunch of 30 something moms in a room with other moms after a long week of their only interaction being with kids, funny and inappropriate things are bound to be said.

Back in February it was my turn to host, and the books were The Mortal Instruments 1-3 and Clockwork Angel. See, we're kind of the over-achievers of Book Clubs, we don't read A book, we read A series per month. On months when what we read only has 2 books in the series....we assign "extra credit books" which usually coincide with the release of a movie. Then we all go out to the movie together.

Back to the meeting: With the help of my amazing pal Jen, we made a Jeopardy board covering all 4 books. I even made what we called "Petty Paddles" so they could signal when they wanted to answer. Let me tell you it was difficult to be on the receiving end of so much visual epicness....lol

Here we are showing off our Petty Paddles - please never mind the 80's-ness that is my living room. We are of the collective that Alex Pettyfer is (looks -wise) our Jace. I haven't paid too much attention to his acting to know if I think he could rock the role...but damn if he's not nice to look at.

And just so there is no confusion in the future......I'm Team Jace.

So, now you have met the Fluffers - expect to see them more in the future. We have some pretty awesome meetings!!!
